Line scan technology involves building up an image, one line at a time, using a line sensor (linear array), which passes in a linear motion over an object, or where the object passes in a linear motion under the sensor.
Line scan technology is a cheap but not a good solution for under vehicle scanning system as vehicles can not keep the exactly same speed while passing through the scanner, distortion generated and images for same vehicle will varies a lot.
Line scan images can’t be used for AI algorithm.
